2D Large Format
Scan Workshop

Introduction and use by appointment by Ms. Anja Müller
The IT Suites include flatbed scanners for A4 and A3 formats, as well as roller scanners for formats up to A0. These large format scanners can also scan cardboard up to 1.6 mm thick. Scanning services are free.

Two dedicated scanning terminals are available in the campus library. Scanned documents are delivered instantly to the user’s USB stick. Both terminals use flatbed scanners customised for scanning books, but are also suitable for use with loose sheets.

Wood and Plastic Workshop

Spread over three floors, the wood and plastics
workshop is the largest on campus. It hosts a complete range of tools for working with timber products and plastics in all their forms – including cardboard, foam, polystyrene, Plexiglas and many others. This facility also includes a dedicated spray painting chamber.

All metallic materials can be cut, sawn, drilled, milled, soldered and welded. A 3-axis CNC mill is available to available to transfer a digital model directly to physical form.
