The project suggests that collective housing should invent a different type of typology that could transform the notions of public and private. Collaborative spaces are by nature neither public nor private but the relationship between bringing forth a harmonize co-living space.
Located in the central city of Berlin, Kurfürstenstraße, the project deems to provide endless lounge of spaces whilst private spaces are carved in the corners, forming an interactive environment in the latter. By using repetition of a single central element, which in this case the cross, through a play of mirrors, scale, and openings to achieve different functions and shape the environment with these walls, the composition make up small variations in the openings between spaces produce a large difference in the definition itself.
